Today we celebrated the country of England in our Christmas Around the World scrapbook. We made lots of crafts today to help us remember some awesome traditions that they celebrate. In the comments, write a sentence telling me what you learned about Christmas in England. I'll give you one classroom dollar for each fact you tell me.
We also celebrated our canned food drive challenge with a bouncy house party. There were NO terrible incidents this time: everyone was safe and followed the rules. Hooray!
In math, we worked on our 9s tricks. We learned the list trick, the fingers trick, and the One Less, Add to 9 trick. These will definitely help us on our times test! I was SUPER IMPRESSED with how hard we all worked on learning the tricks and how many of us use our song as a trick too! Our facts are getting better all of the time.
Tomorrow is Eisenhower Family Day! We will also be studying France. In the afternoon, if we can squeeze it in, we are going to go ring the bells for the Salvation Army at Dillons. This is something on our kindness board and we could take care of it tomorrow if we are lucky! Lots of exciting things going on in third grade! See you then!
Hope your evening has been a FANTASTIC ONE!
