We also got to make treats for the residents of Brookdale. We made acorn boxes and filled them with a treat mix of popcorn, pretzels, candy corn, and m&ms. Then, we made apple turkeys for ourselves to celebrate our chain touching the ground for our Rules for Life. Way to follow those special rules of politeness!
In the afternoon, we did our first ever ESCAPE CLASSROOM. Mrs. Jenkins and I spent many hours preparing the clues, and although it was kind of tricky, we LOVED watching each team work together. After we solved the 1st few clues together as a group, you started to get the hang of it. Each clue got a little better & you got a little quicker at solving them. Even though nobody made it out in time, I was pretty impressed at our first attempt. The next time we do it, you'll be much better prepared and already know how to work together!
We will be busy again tomorrow! Don't forget your RAKES please! Mrs. Anderson and Ms. Miller are gonna love you so much for working in their yards! I cannot wait to see their smiles!
See ya in the morning!
