Then, we finished up Mixed Up Files with our final chapter. We completed our vocabulary books and took our AR test. We had lots of people score a 100%, so that is awesome! This has been a harder book for us, but I am VERY PROUD of how well we have listened and what a great job of participating we have done! Without behaving like future fourth graders this test would have been TOUGH, TOUGH, TOUGH for us! Tomorrow we will go and visit the Chisholm Trail Museum right here in Wellington. We are excited to see how Claudia and Jamie might have felt the very first time they entered the MUSEUM in New York City!
We handed out Track Meet ribbons this afternoon, then walked to Candy Cane City park to play since our entire third grade class did an AWESOME job collecting money for the Color Run. When we got back to school, we watched the Water Balloon Fight for the kids who collected $100 or more for the Color Run. It was a perfect day for a water balloon fight! We ended our day with a nice recess.
State Assessments Part 2 are first thing tomorrow morning, so make sure you eat a good breakfast and get good rest. There will be NO reading calendar again this week, so please make sure you are doing your part to take care of yourself for this week's testing. Enjoy the sunshine!
